Arsenal have reportedly rejected a bid from Barclays Premier League new boys Norwich City for Henri Lansbury.
According to talkSPORT, the north London club have rebuffed an offer in the region of £1.5 million for Lansbury, who helped the Canaries to promotion last season.
Arsenal are said to have dismissed the approach out of hand, although Arsene Wenger has yet to give the 20-year-old assurances that he remains part of his plans for next season.
Lansbury was given extra time to recuperate by the Arsenal boss after his exploits with the England under-21s, and has yet to join up with his Gunners teammates for pre-season.
Arsenal are currently in Asia, but return to England for the Emirates Cup in late July, where they will entertain the NY Red Bulls and Boca Juniors.
The Gunners will have recent acquisition Gervinho among their ranks by then and, Arsenal fans will hope, a few more faces would have been added to the squad.
One of these could be Costa Rican youngster Joel Campbell, with Arsenal having made a formal approach for the teenage striker.
