Subscribe ow.ly | Facebook ow.ly | Twitter ow.ly Manchester United have offered Park Ji-Sung a two-year extension to his contract. The South Korean midfielder’s current deal runs out at the end of next season. Park retired from international football in January to concentrate on his club career. The 30-year-old has been at Old Trafford since 2005, when he joined from Dutch club PSV. Originally seen as a fringe player, Park has developed into a key member of the side. He has won the Premier League title four times as well as three League Cups. He missed out on the Champions League final in 2008, in which Manchester United beat Chelsea. However, a year later he became the first Korean to appear in the Europe’s showpiece final, as United lost to Barcelona.
